I'm not sure how important this info will be to you guys, but I have tracked down a part that seems to be missing from every third gen thats been in a car wash!
It is part number 20198747 in your GM hand book. It is the "ESCUTCHEON" finish moulding, it's that small piece that finishes the top of the steel trim around the hatch glass. The part is worth around $2-3 U.S.
It is available at GM Vintage Parts, 1-877-846-8243, I believe they are located in Chicago.
