Custom body mods

Getting ready to paint my friends sport coupe and were doing some custom body mods. Ive been meaning to get some more pix, and i will if you guys are interested. here was my idea, it turned out pretty good.

So far:
Shaved gas cap
Shaved spoiler lip
shaved the line where the bumper meets the rear 1/4
removed the door ding protectors
smoothed where the chin spolier meets the bumper
Smoothed the z28 gfx

I want to shave the door handels, but he drives it every day and it would be a pain in the butt. Also its not NHRA certified.

10 bucks says the smoothed bumper/rear 1/4 panel line cracks within a year.

The spoiler looks great, though. Kinda 2nd genish.

well, we did all sorts of reinforcement on the bumpers

this is all done with kitty hair fiberglass with little hardener and a flex reisen.

Absolutely no "bondo" anywhere. fiberglass is harder to make even, but it will hold up well.

fiberglass will still crack especially on these car because they flex a lot.\

what ive always thought about was adding brake cooling scoops behind the door in front of the rear tire, thought it might look cool, kinda like the 69 model

Your attempting to mold the chin spoiler to the nose?

Thats going to look horrible the first time he hits the chin on something.
