Hey guys,
I was wondering if there is any companies out there that make a shaker and hood to fit a 3rd gen firebird. If not, will a 2nd gen shaker fit around the air filter like on the 70's engine or can it even be modified to fit a 3rd gen? I figured if no one makes a shaker hood for it, I could fab one out of my standard hood. Any imput on this would be great. I REALLY want to put a shaker on my firebird.

unfortunatly there are no companies that make shaker hoods for the 3rd gens. you can prolly track down a bolt on non funtional one. but they're hard to come by anymore. there is a guy on the board though that is making his own shaker hood from a 2nd gen scoop. he's giving detailed instructions and pictures. here's the link,
