Fiberlglass camaro front end?

why would you want just a fiberglass front bumper? fiberglass breaks a lot easier than plastic and has not much of a weight advantage...i dont see the point

Fiberglass has a much higher modulus number (stiffer) than ABS, and is much lighter than urethane, so fewer support frames are needed, and is much easier to modify, fill, blocksand smooth. Also, paint sticks better without (sometimes) color changing additives (plasticisers) Paul
