89 trans am Front bumper

Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Axle/Gears: Stock Rear End
89 trans am Front bumper

well the front bumper on my trans am is cracked, bent and squared off where the front lisence plate goes. I am going to replace it soon and was wondering if there are any tips on removing it, thanks

pretty sure its just held on by rivet type things, your going to have to replace them when you take them off anyway so i dont really think their is any special technique to takeing it off

Transmission: T-56 6 Speed/ McLeod Street Twin
Axle/Gears: 3.42 9 Bolt Posi w/ girdle
It's actually held on by 4 little 10mm nuts and bolts that hold it to the fender. If you have a trans am you're going to have to unbolt the body kit and the body kit support brackets too.

yea i knew there was more to it then the litte rivet things.... the only ones i found were underneath where the bumper comes up to the body. one last thing... do u have to take the black metal piece off that is attached to the bumper as well as the fender bolts?
