rocker panels rusted out...

I was looking under my car the other day to check out what kind of rust I had since I will be under coating it soon. I noticed that my rocker arms where rusted out. Has anyone here ever had this problem and knows how to fix it?

There rocker "panels", rocker arms are on your heads. And you need to replace the rocker or cut out the rusted area and patch it, its welded on., not an easy task, not for someone who doesn't know what there doing bodywork wise.

Sorry, I knew something didnt sound right when I was typing. Is this a common problem to fix or do you think I will have problems finding a body shop that can fix the rocker panels?

You shouldn't haev much problem finding a shop. Its a common rust place, and a commmon place to get damaged when in a side impact. Do be prepared for a bit of money tho. I believe generally a rocker panel calls for a bit of labor.
