92 heritage paint job questions!

Hey all... im looking to repaint my car in the next few months and i REALLY like the heritage stripes..

my question is. From the factory, were the heritage stripes stickers?? or were they actually painted on the car. ( i hope to god they were painted)
i find the sticker stripes everywhere, the ones you can buy and slap on the car but i really dont want that, i want to paint the stripes on.

when i take it to the body shop how do i get the heritage stripe design on my car? is there some kind of large stencil i can buy? to give the body shop?

yep, they're stickers. as far as stencils go, I imagine phoenix graphics has them... if not, Im sure one of the decal makers would whip you some up- or you could be creatitive, and make your own, using a 92 to make a pattern......
