Hey I was just on gt fiberglasses site and they now have a hood that you can prep yourself. It looks easy. Anyone try one yet Looks like you can save a few bucks

 

I'm redoing the finish of the 82-83 fiberglass Z28 hood, since I'm painting it black and teal, it needs to be as perfect as I can get it. It can be a pain in the ***, it all depends.

Are you prepared to block sand.. and block sand .. and spray with primer .. fill in tiny tiny scratchmarcks and possible dents.. and start all over again.. block sand ... black guide coat.. block sand


Expect to put in several hours
