Picked up a new hood from hawks, great quality, love it blah blah blah, One problem, I bolted on my old latch and lever from the stock hood and put it on the new one no problem, when the hood is almost closed all the way, just open enough to peek in with a flashlight, the metal rod on the hood that gets latched into the lock on the car, still has like 2" of travel before it would even come close to reaching the latch. That means with it fully closed it still isnt even close. This is after I loosened the bolts on the latch of the car and raised them up all the way.
