I've wondered through these forums and other forums to find where I can find a full set, or piece by piece, of '89 fiberglass firebird parts? As you may have noticed, I have an '89 firebird and it's partially rusted, adn fixing the rust and coating it w/ a good paintjob won't cost much. However, I figure that I should go ahead and get all fiberglass parts and then paint it, just so I don't have to go through all the rust/paint hassle, only to replace them later in the future. My main concerns are:
1.) Is it worth the extra money to get replace the fiberglass, even at the cost?
2.) Where I might be able to find some fiberglass parts for cheap.
3.) My bird already has a v8 in it, and I was considering on going ahead and upgrading it's appearance to SHOW it has a v8. I was considering getting a few t/a or GTA parts instead, and was wondering if they'll fit just fine, or which ones are really different than the firebird. Hell, if a '92 GTA has a nicer looking part that can fit a '89 firebird, I'll gladly go through w/ that too
