problem with hatch?

Engine: 2.8 V6
Transmission: stock BW 5 spd.
Axle/Gears: stock 3.42
problem with hatch?

today i went to get something out of my firebird & there was a puddle in the trunk, what caused this & how do i get the water out??

Your rear hatch window seal is leaking. Get a shop vac to remove the water and mark the location where the leak is. It may be hard to track the exact spot. Good luck.

is it the weatherstripping on the body or is it the hatch?

I had that same problem, I had to remove the hatch panel and reseal it to the glass.

My freind had that happen in his Beretta it ended up being the spoiler. all he did was take it off and resealed it and it stopped leaking.

i had to take the spoiler off to paint it, so that might be it, how do i re-seal it?,

you could use like the gasket making material, like maybe silicone type stuff, or an epoxy type stuff, maybe even a big rubber gasket.
