I really like how the ad says "the AC runs but is not blowing cold air" and in the pics the accumulator and lines are missing.

thats weird, i saw that auction before this thread was made. i thought that sounded familiar when you said "I really like how the ad says 'the AC runs but is not blowing cold air' and in the pics the accumulator and lines are missing."

It's also only got a 305 not a 350.

And it's a Trans Am, not a GTA.

I may be wrong but, that car isn't supposed to have fender vents. Wrecked maybe?

You're right, either wrecked, or a botched add-on. They don't look quite kosher. I'd never pay money for that abomination, lol.

The only interesting part of that Bird is the rear view. The GTA style spoiler and 'cut aways' for the exhaust tips actually look slick. Downhill after that. Original wore down carpet, stains galore. Dollar store bird decal

That's kinda like the guy on there trying to sell a 91 Camaro that he claims is a Z28 for $10k. A VIN check says it's an RS with a 305 HO but the seller claims it's a real Z28 that the engine was swapped in.

Is it just me, or does that car have some major gaps. And I'm not talkin about the hood.

He's jus trying to talk up his not-so-great car. Happens a lot. I don't see the big deal.

Good project car. Because that'll need a lot of work.

without all those stupid stickers, the vents bieng painted on the hood and the tires stickin out........ with a rectangular 6x2 tailpipe, something along the lines of a 4th gen vette, it might pass for acceptable.

Someone had the begginings of a few good ideas that I shared but havn't seen done yet

I am for sure going to do the tailpipe thing to my third gen but it will look all flushey and shizzel

I am also thinking of putting 86 TA fenders on my 91 Bird because I think that detroit make a mistake by puttin plane jane fenders on the most stylish american sports car ever made(Just my opinoin........relax Camaro dudes )

It's not a GTA, it's a trans-am
The front wheels are on the back
The body looks pretty good actually, would be a good car for a kid.
It's being sold by a dealer, who probably doesn't know much about the car,
nor does he care. He's just trying to move it.

Thirdgens are great starter cars for kids getting into hot rodding / sports cars. I'm sure somebody will love to own that car.
