Rim Questions
Rim Questions
Ok, I have a 91 Camaro RS. it had the 305 from the factory, and the 16" rims. The offset for the rims are different for the front rims, than the back rims. I found a set of rims on Ebay I like, they say they are for the 92 Iroc. but I asked the guy about the offset. he tells me the offset of his rims are 0 for all 4. I asked about the fact that the front and rear have different offsets, and he said that was true, but his rims are all the same, and work better than the factory ones... I believe the factory made the offset different for a reason, and am apprehensive about getting them. What do you all think? There nice rims. Below is a picture of the rims I am looking at. but I want to get your feedback as to the offset problem.

I think you are takling about the back spacing.Your factory ones are front 4.5 rear are 5 1/8 if you have the factory steel 1/8 in spacers it makes them 5.25.The reason the rear have more backspacing is so they dont stick out of your wheelwells.I have 4.5 on front and back of mine with no problems, some people think it gives it a more agresive look. The wheels you are looking at are nice,I would go for it.

There is no drivability or fitment issue with having both front and rear rims with the same backspace. If you like them...get them and enjoy.
