How do you adjust the hatch?

From: Rome,Ga.
Car: 1996 Ford F-150 4x4 and 1989 T/A
Engine: 302 in Ford,305 TPI in T/A
Transmission: automatics in both
Axle/Gears: not sure,just got T/A
How do you adjust the hatch?

Hello,new member here with a question.I recently bought an 89 T/A that needs alot of work.The hatch hanges over the taillights about a 1/4to 1/2 inch over the taillights.What is the best way to remedy this problem?
