I'm shooting my door jams tomorrow. I've got the paint sanded down so all the clear is removed. Think I can shoot the dark blue metallic over the old gray paint, or should I hit it with some gray primer first? I'm wondering if I even need to prime it...

400. Broke through a few spots, but fanned it out. It's pretty straight. keep in mind the body is fiberglass not metal. heh.

hey, do you have any updated pictures of your progress other than your site? looks good so far, but the 91-96 bumper will kill it. just my opinion. you should update the dash to a 90+ style ive never understood that "bread loaf" thing in the earlier dash's

thanks

I need to snap some more pix. I like the 91-96 bumpers and wide molding better than the old style. The breadloaf is gone, replaced with a panel. If I could get my hands on a crashed 90-91 i'd swap the dash, but I'm not about to pay asking price for one on ebay.

I'm gonna try to shoot the door jams and inner 1/2 fenders sunday. Hopefully i'll take some pix. I was gonna shoot them tonight but I can't with the car on the lift (doors wont open wide enough) and I cant put it on the floor for the night because theres another car under it.
