Tired of the same old hood fins/front grill color?
A tip i found fun and easy to do was to first go to wal-mart pick out any color you want to paint the hood fins and grill (whatever those things are called) They come off easy i think 6 screws for the grill you get to from the bottum (two of them were a pain but still easy to handle advice get a u-joint socket helps alot) For the hood grills they are held in by plastic screws under the hood lift it up check for em unscrew it and pull it off. Get a box and whatever ( i advice light sanding the parts so the paint sticks better and it looks smooth) paint the part let dry and re-apply to car or clear coat the pieces for that extra glow. But all that cost me was like 5 bucks and 2-3 hours of work and now instead of the old dingy black grill and hood fins i have new nice silver/white grill/fins to match my new blue paintjob. well thiers my new found tip have a good one.
Edited: might i add that i have an 87 z28 and also that i have painted the parts with this wal-mart spray can paint about 7 months ago and no chipping of any sort. >8)
