Hmmmm, i have reservations about using silicone. Not a fan, I have used 3M's autobody sealant. Now I can't say that has been the best b/c I have the same issue with the huge hole in the corner between the weatherstrip and A-pillar corner, if you will. Fiberglass or welding more metal in that area would be the best option! What a crappy design from the factory!

no kidding, i had leaky ttops, i siliconed them down and it was good for me. but you do have to fill in that 1" gap by the roof pillars or itll leak there too. its a crappy design, but silicone is just a brand name, you can use calking, itll move better, itll dry and hold out water better, and itll allow you to remove your weather stripping again without destroying it.
