Hi. I am going to attempt my paint job this spring and was wondering if, when you take the ground effects off and paint them. Then paint the car seperatly. Do you put the ground effects back on after how many coats? And then coat the whole car again? Thanks.

its best to do the base/clear seperately, depending on your pickyness...you can wetsand them seperately too or you can put them on and then wetsand.

I removed mine when i sprayed my bird

They are a PITA but I dont see how youd get a good spray along the creases and in the door jambs unless you pull em

I'm in the middle of painting and I have most of my gfx in my basement with filler and primer... your spraying will be easier with the gfx off when you paint and will look better where the effects meet the body.

yeah, that's going to look a lot cleaner. I had a guy spray mine a few years back with them still on, and it doesn't look too good.
