Re: Water In My Car....

I dont understand where you are saying it is coming in from.

Anyway...you took your thirdgen through an automatic carwash? I don't get a drop of water in the rain but I wouldn't even think about taking it through the car wash, I'm sure water would just pour in...

Re: Water In My Car....

Yes it's a T Top but they are not the problem it's when I get water from the low side of the drivers door like around where the door meets the body.
The jets from the car wash shoots water at the car and some got in. I was just wondering if I could prevent that.
On the passenger side I don't have that problem
Thanks Auto Brothers

Also by the way what are the Door Bottom Water Seals andcould this be the problem?

Re: Water In My Car....

I had the same problem. layed on the ground and couldnt find any holes are anything that would let water in, and one day i got sick of it and took it to work and put it on the lift and saw that right where the driver side floor pan and the rocker panel come together was rusting through. I couldnt see it when it was on the groung cus it was on the back side of the rocker panel. You might want to check that out

Re: Water In My Car....

Get clear or black silicone and a caulking gun, open the door and roll down the windows, than apply the water resistant silicone and apply it to the weather stripping where the glass would normally meet the weather strip. Make sure u put a good amount of it and even it it. I did that on my T-top and it stopped both the water leak and the air leak when your on the freeway.

IMPORTANT: Make sure you have atleast 5 to 6 hour to let it dry, even though it says 2. It can get messy if you close the doors to soon. Good luck.
