Air Dam/Spoiler/Groundeffect

Does anyone know the dimensions or a replacement piece that goes underneath the front bumper and connects the two front flares? or is that piece vital to the air flow system?

The air dam that runs below the radiator isnt vital to the cooling system. However my firebird and my friends ta both ran considerably cooler with them. If you can find a shroud then get it and it will save on your fan motor mine has went out twice in a little over 2 years

Actually, it IS vital to the cooling system. Your friends' cars run cooler with it, and your fan motor keeps burning out without it. See the connection?

But to answer your question for where to get an airdam, Warhammer, there are many different styles of them, depending on which model car you have. And some can differ from model year-to-model year.

Your best place to begin might be your local GM dealer for help figuring out which one was for your car. It might not be available anymore, but at least he could prolly tell you which one was for your car.

Then try other sources like www.yearone.com , www.classicindustries.com , and other OEM parts suppliers you might find online, some of which might also be site sponsors with links to the right.-------------------------------->
They might list the airdams by model year, not by part number.

This is a part that can be difficult to pindown. So it could take some work to find the right one. But if you don't have one, or yours is broken, get one. It is important.
