i got to look at my car on a lift today and it seems as tho i have rust on frame just underneath both doors so bad in fact that we couldnt lift it from there because all you heard was a crunching sound anyway my question is can i weld in some steal to reinforce the frame or is this car a lost hope i really love my car and would like to keep it to eventully drag but i know no2 is impossable with so much rust what should i do

Everyone will tell you to dump the car. However, if it has sentimental value and you really like it, you can repair anything. it is just a matter of how much time and money is it worth to you to fix it right. Basically, unless the whole thing is rusted through, you should be able to cut out the cancer until you find good steel and weld from there. If it runs through a structural area, you'll need to be able to keep the car straight for the repair or you'll end up fixing the car crooked or uneven...it depends on where and how big the area is. As said above though, pictures of this are going to be needed for anyone to make a real estimate for you.
