Re: Check this out

Kirker is a maker of budget grade enamel automotive paint.
I have used thier enamel with 'wet look' hardener more than I care to mention.
It it probably a step above buying house enamel but, it gets the job done, has fair weathering holdout (when not taken car of) and scratch/chip resistance is fair.
I can only speculate the urethane enamel is not really anymore impressive than the enamel with the (urethane) 'wet look' hardener in it.

You can make it look nice by adding a basecoat stabilizer to it and putting a worthwhile clear over it but, you may as well buy a better brand basecoat paint to start with.

To sum up, it's fine for a car that is going to be used as a daily driver or a truck/ORV.

For roughly a little more price, I prefer to use PPG Omni for painting on a DD car or engine bay/jamb/nook details.

Just depends on the finish you want.

Here is a guy I know who painted his (yes, I know what it is) car with kirker enamel, basecoat stab., and cleared with PPG 2021. In this case, he found the exact yellow he wanted with Kirker instead of a custom paint mix.

The beauty is in the bodywork/prep, the gloss/shine is a good clear, much colorsanding/buffing. The color could be from a spray can for all it matters.
