Flat Rivet Tool for Door Sweep Weatherstrip
Is there a rivet tool that will put in rivets to hold the door sweep weatherstrips? I tried small sheet metal screws, but they aren't holding very well, and I would prefer to use factory-style rivets to hold the felts in.

I could be wrong, just ask my wife, but i believe the sweeps originally were held in by screws not rivets. I've had to change them on all three of the F bodies i owned and every car had screws for the felts.
I'd of thought you'd struggle to get enough access for a rivot.

Either way, I don't see why small rivits wouldn't work.

Well, it's impossible to get a regular rivet gun in there, and I think there were rivets (it's been awhile since I took the OEM sweeps off) but maybe not. I'll grab some metric interior trim screws (those wide-headed black oxide ones) and see if those grab, as regular sheet metal screws have threads that are too coarse, and don't get very tight.
