Tahoe Vs 87 TransAm, Tahoe Loses

My 15 year old daughter was pulling in the driveway with our Tahoe when she panicked and hit the gas hitting my parked TransAm. She hit it with the passenger side front bumper of the Tahoe against the driver side rear of my TransAm. It pushed the car about 3 feet and turned it slighlty sideways and the front of the car rammed my BBQ grill. The Tahoe's front bumper is smashed pretty good and will need to be replaced along with some trim pieces that just shattered. The car appears to be OK. The bumper only had a slight scuff that wiped off and the front had a few scuffs from the hitting the grill. I took it for a drive and it still drives straight. There is one slight problem I noticed. The gap between the drivers side door and the rear quarter panel is a little bit closer than the passenger side. How bad do you think it is? I'm going to take it to a few body shops to find out, but wanted to hear from some of you here before they try to tell me my car's frame is bent, will cost loads of money, etc..
I can't believe how tough the bumper is on these cars, although I am glad that the car wasn't parked backwards in the driveway!

lol, this brings back memories of my first wreck, I was sitting still, and a truck ranover the front left part of my camaro. it smashed the front end adn totaled his 4x4 :P I got out, and after everything was said and done, cut the mud guard panel off away from my tire and drove home. and that is the story why I now have a z28 front end.

as per your trans am, I would say the panels moved a hair, try lossinging all the bolts and move it forward.measure the gap o nthe untouched side, so you can get a equal distance on both sides.

Wow a 15 year old parking a car, beside your prized T/A. Well. you cant ground her or punish her. YOU just learned a valuable lesson, she needs more experience.

lol, better than my neighbor, she went thru the garage door..... she freaked out and hit the gas vs the brake. I learned at that point, to try to stay away from women drivers.
