Another t-top question

I have a leak in my tops. The funny thing is, sometimes it will leak, sometimes not. I have put black silicone around the outside of the tops and where the gasket is on the front, toward the windshield, where I thought the leaking was coming from. It leaks right there at the joint.

Re: Another t-top question

its damn near impossible to stop the t-tops from leaking, but here is something that worked very well for me. where the glass of the top meets the bar on the side, there is a gasket between the glass and the metal, i think its silicon of some type thats applied when the parts are assembled, i got in there with a razor, dug it all out and shot in new black polyurethane, same idea as silicon but i think its better, and it stopped almost all of my leaking issues. most of my water was coming into the plastic trim where the handles are and running out the front and back depending if you got in the gas or hit the brakes.

something to try....
