I just bought 2 sets of 3 gen louvers for my 2 cars.I have never used thers before and am not sure how they attatch.They have some metal clips but tell me thats not all that holds them on.In fact one set has top and bottom clips one only has top.Any idea where to get parts?I dont know who made them.Thanks

I have a set of cragar louvers, and there are 2 sets of clips on the top that attach to the top of the rear window. Then there is a set of clips at the bottom edges (1 clip per side) and these attach near the bottom of the hatch. Don't know if this helps...I could probably get pics if you need them.

 

The Cragar louvers sound similar to the factory lovers i have on my '83.the upper mount/hinges clip over the edge of the top of the window near the hatch hinges.Then there 4 clips,2 each side,that secure the ABS section to the hatch.The the hinged aluminum center secton is secured to these.And at the base the are supports that use double-sided tape then the center secton clips to it.All the fastening hardware is hex-head dzus style.I can upload pictures but theyare on my other computor. perhaps post pictures of what you have and go from there.

 

Thanks for the info.One set I bought has the two top clips and 2 on each side like you are talking about.That is kinda scarry thats all that holds it on.The other set has the 2 top clips but on the sides,there was something there but there broken off.I wish I knew who made them.Maybe I could get replacement parts.I dont think there craiger,I have heard there name ia on theres.
