glass, in roads

So im heading home tonight, and im on this road with a 55 mph speed limit, I travel this road a lot and never expected amything like this. Im crusing along and I here this tink tink, so I think ok some dirt on the road. wrong! its little pieces of glass. about 1/4 mile down the road I realize this so I slow down to 35. too late, I pull into a gas station and look on my quarters and fenders, there are white spots everywhere, the paint is all chipped off and now my black are looks like a dalmation. Ok exageration but still my paint looks horrible and I just finihed applying the decals last week. so much for my finshed car

looks like my car has a date with a bottle of touch up,

my only question is, what moron threw glass down on the road

Damn, that sucks! I know glass is really sharp, but sure it won't buff out? I freaked out about a month ago when I turned on this road that was completely filled with loose gravel. It was all pinging against my car Needless to say I quickly turned around and went 5 mph the way back My car came out without any damage and I haven't been on that road since

Yeah it won't buff out, I detail cars, so I have some buffing experience, and this stuff knocked the paint off right down to the primer underneath. some of the marks still have the paint hanging off of them
