Best method to remove dealer emblem?
What's the best way to remove a dealer's emblem? It's on my rear bumper and it looks like it's either glued on, or held there with double sided tape. Is there something I can spray on it to dissolve the adhesive?
Here's what it looks like:

WD40, pull it off slowly. Then either use Goo Gone or more WD40 and a rag to get the residue off. You could also use a heat gun, but that could cause your paint to bubble.
I did the WD40 method to remove my emblems and heat gun to remove the pinstripe.
I like the louvers, my dad has the 3 piece ones on his '86 Z28 and I have louvers on my
'86 Mustang.

Heat gun ftw, but BE CAREFUL! I use this method on a daily basis at work to remove vinyl and other sorts of adhesive. Use it sparingly, and heat the badge over a longer period of time rather than just blasting it (or the paint will bubble as stated) try this combined with some WD40, or goo gone. We use 'rapid remover' and it literally turns adhesive into a gel in 60 seconds, blows goo gone and wd40 out of the water, but I don't think you need it for something like this.
Get your hands on a plastic squeegee too, so that you dont scratch the paint trying to wedge a screwdriver in (seen this done before, there are so many idiots out there

On my first camaro i used a hair dryer to get off the hideous bumper stickers the previous owner had put on, but that car is long gone. on my iroc i just simply used a razor blade and slowly and carefully cut off the dealer emblem. For the most part i used goo gone and soap/water to get the rest of the adhesive off. I'm in upper marlboro, I hope to see you around some time.

WD-40 has some serious emulsifiers and tends to work well without damaging the paint job.
you can also try Break Free CLP, but either way you have to be patient and complete the process carefully.
it could be worse. they could still be BOLTING them on like they did on some cars in the early 1980s.
