I am just getting around to fixing my 87T/A hatch pulldown. It closes and latches but you can hear it's loose on bumps. I took off the panels and took a look. From what I can tell, I am missing the motor and gear assembly. There is a wire hanging there and there is a connector that if I plug and unplug, I hear a relay click. What will I need to do to get it back working again. This car doesn't have a button on the inside to pop the hatch, just pulldown. I have a car alarm that does have a trunk feature that I could wire up, but what would I need to make this work?
