mirror broke

mirror broke

is there any way to fix a driver side mirror the glass just wants to aim strait a the ground and the **** that moves the glass around fell out and wont stay in place, i can post pics if that helps

I got that same problem. My mirror was cracked so I replaced it and now it points at the ground. I think the wires that move the mirror are possibly stretched or broken.

yeah i looked at it for a good 10 mins and the cable thats on the bottom the oen that controlls the aimming up movement came out of the plastic peice and looks like the plastic peice cracked unless its a 2 peice design im not to sure

i took it apart and the peice that holds the cables cracked in half and i cant find a replacement the closest thing i can find is a whole new/used mirror and i only need this black part that the cable attach to http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...6/DSC00671.jpg

any clue were i can get one online (i work when the junkyards are open)
