Hey all i just picked up a 1986 trans am ..does anyone know where to get the specs on the decal set.. including what pieces are supposed to be there?

 

Basic TAs in 86 came with the small nose bird and 2 small b-pillar birds. 4 TransAm names with the solid lettering. 87-up had the outline lettering. 86 also had the dot-matrix fade stripe at the bottom with a 2nd color stripe in the lower portion of it. My car orig had all silver with a small orange. I also had the orange taillight center bird. Most had silver back there. But those dont come with the decal kit. A 87-up decal kit is much the same as a 85-86, but doesnt have the lower stripe...and as already mentioned is outline lettering. I think 85 and early 86 had the large hood bird option which replaced the small nose bird. TA names were on the front fenders just above the body moulding/center crease. The front TA name was on the left side just above the lower body stripe. And the rear was on the right also just above the stripe.
