I was at the junkyard a few days ago and I noticed that one of the firebirds had a sticker on the door handle that said "Tuned Port Injection". I have never seen these on anything else, but they fit right into the slot on the door handle. Does anyone know where these can be found?

I can't recall having seen anybody that sells these, but they had them in the '70s as well. I found one once that said "Trans Am" and carefully pealed it from the car to use in my garage. I am certain you won't find "Tuned Port Injection" on a '70s car, but you may want to expand your search to catalogs for 2nd gen cars.

 

I spent a few months looking for "fuel injection" ones, then finally I found someone on here parting out a T/A that had them. just keep looking in the classifieds.

My 89 RS vert has a silver set that says Chevrolet. And it looks to be oraginal. Maybe it was a dealer thing. Adam :-)
