i am currently building another asedan scca race car out of my 89 transam. the problem is that i have a ttop car and need to weld in a new roof. any idea short of a junkyard on where to find one. since the part has been discontinued by gm about 14 months ago, i would really like to find a reproduction roof but have not had any luck. thanks

 

Have you gone to a dealer and had them run a locate on the roof part #? That way you could find out if any dealers/gm body shops/warehouses still have any in stock on a shelf somewhere. Other than that, and if you don't want to junkyard it, it may be time to fab one up.
