Fixing Nose

I read a few threads on here already and it looks like i need urethene repair compound to fix my nose. it has 2 cracks on the bottom of the nose where someone probably had it towed or hit low curbs before i bought it and a rip on the passenger side of the nose above the grill area. i think i can fix the 2 cracks along the bottom but how can i fix the rip and keep the shape of the nose? i was reading that the repair compound doesnt like to be sanded... im trying to get this done by next weekend so any responces would be appreciated.

* by the way its a 1991 Camaro RS

Re: Fixing Nose

you could always knock it down to the yellow part of the plastic and put a lil fiber glass on the back side and resin up the front side
