next mod?

next mod?
Hi, im new here and my parents recently gave me the keys to our '87 4bbl 305 firebird, and it runs great, but i would like to mod it to make it perform better, i already have subframe connectors (everything else is stock) and i have gotten about 500 dollars to put into, but i dont really know what to do next? any suggestions? thx

Man, i know after swapping out for new Eibach springs and large sway bar set, i was VERY impressed with how much better the car drove. Stock shocks too. That would be in that price range i think....? I havn't looked it up in a few years though.
If your looking for power/performance, i don't think you could go wrong with Headers, High-flow cat, and performance muffler. And then you'll get a nicer, deeper sound. Not sure on the cost, but probably more then 500.
And then, depending on rebuild/mileage, your probably in need of a new Cam shaft. And you'll see some nice gaines even getting back to stock lobes. I think thats my next mod, as the 170k miles makes the girl feel old. lol
