The other day when I tried to shut my trunk I noticed that it wouldn't pull down. The motor was running but for some reason the latch wouldn't move up or down. I unbolted the trunk motor and I just can't figure out what the problem is. Any ideas?

 

get a screwdriver, and push the latch button down to make sure its closed all the way, then hit the hatch release button and try shutting the hatch again. i had the same problem and that worked.
