Howdy guys and gals! I've got an 85 Trans Am that I'm currently getting ready to paint. I went the semi-cheesy route and put the Knight Rider front end on the car. As most, if not all, of you know the 85 was the first year for the all around ground effects kit. The Knight Rider nose doesn't have ground effects... so I took the stock fender ground effects off as well... making the car look pretty darn goofy. So I'm in search of the stock triangular shaped fender ground effects from 82-84... but the only ones I could find are the ones from Mark's Custom Kits for $200. Anyone know where I could find these? Or if anyone has them for sale?? Thanks in advance everyone!!

 

This would probably be best in the classifieds, but I have a set of front and rears. They are in pretty good shape, but the left rear has several cracks in it, plenty usable though. $75 plus shipping.

 

Thanks a bunch... sorry about the misplacing of the thread. Wasn't sure if it should go in here or somewhere else. I really only need the fronts... could you post a picture of them please? I just want to make sure I know what I'm talking about and make sure its what I need before I buy. You are a life saver my friend!!

 

Here are pics of them, they are from an '82 T/A. I would much rather sell them as a set of four, because without the fronts, the rears are pretty much useless.

 

Beautiful!! Exactly what I was hoping for. The last piece of the puzzle so I can finally paint my car. A buddy of mine has an 82 and needs the rear effects... so he's gonna give me some cash. i have all four GFX pieces off my 82 t/a but everytime i offer them for sale no one is interested

im about to just throw them away


i sick of offering parts on here and no one wants them

yet complains about how they cant find any or whatever

82 83 84 regular t/a and s/e were this style

84 aero were similar to the 85-up

and any others i dont know,

i think some 83 were special too(was the firebird pace car in 83?)

i forget

i only like the regular t/a and s/e

not the recaros and pace and aero
