Firebird front end on a camaro?

Firebird front end on a camaro?
I know the Firebird and Camaros are pertty much the same car. So my question is can a Firebird front end go on a Camaro? And then would the back end look right? The reason I want to know is that I have been looking for a 82-86 Firebird. Just have not found one. I have a 83 Camaro that I have been working on for a while. I want to do at Knight Rider KITT car clone. I grew up wathcing the show and loved the car and want one of my own. Can any one help with this question Thanks.

yes it'll all bolt right up, but the KITT dash wont go into a camaro and the back won't look right as far as kitt goes but meh I'm sure someppl here can get you a picture of a Trans-maro
