i need paint color ideas ,the person who had the car before me did a crappy job ,orange peel all over, didnt paint on corners and cracks very well is it eaiser to just sand blast it and repaint my self or can i fix the existing problems?

 

Id wet sand and buff it and see how the paint looks then. as for the cracks, what do you mean?

 

the car got in a small front end chash before i got it and it is missing part of the plastic frame that runs accrost the front end that holds the headlights in place and when it was repainted somebody put weight on the bumper causing the paint to stretch and crack

 

are you talking about sandblasting the entire car ? if so forget about it , unless you want to tie up your car for a long time . any good body/paint man can fix your problems . good paint and body shops are not cheap . please do a little more research . if your set on new paint , price a job at local shop and you will see what i mean price wise .

 

X2. The majority of it may end up looking nice, just repaint what still looks crappy.

 

If it were my car, before doing anything, I'd first get several professional body shop / painter's opinion's as to where to begin to correct or restore the cars paint.
