I just bought a set of hood blisters from Hawks, for flat hoods. has anyone installed these before? just looking for placement advice! Thanks!!

Yeah, they seem like there pretty nice... Hopefully it adds some life to the stock flat hood

If you want, I can measure the placement of the factory Z28 blisters on my iroc hood.

 

I put these on my jongbloed hood last year, and have lots of measurements from a stock set on my web page:

86 IROC... if you wouldn't mind that would be GREAT! i took my hood insulation off yesturday and noticed that under the hood there are 2 holes in the 'shell' of the hood near the nose, i hope the hawks bolts line up wih that but i'm not 100 % sure! Measurements on the stock hood would be great tho!!! thank you!

 

I just got done installing my blisters.... It took a while and a lot of measuring but I think they look great. I didn't do the final install yet, because I want to get some rubber washers and lock nuts. I will have some progress pictures and everything if anyone needs them... I wish Hawks spent a little more time forming the blisters correctly, however, with a belt sander, it wasn't too hard to make them fit properly!
