I'd say go original, and convert it back. You can always get yourself a 85+ TA. That's just me as I am all for original

I have an 84 T/A that I converted to the 85+ look. Love the nose and tail much better now, but it's personal preference really. And you can always go back later. As for collector...that's up in the air. The cars are already "collectors" by how old they're getting, so it's really up to the owners and public to make them popular as "collectors".

the nose really does it for me, i like it alot. i would look for a 85-89 ta but i never see them for sale and when i do they want too much for a car in worse shape than mine. its just like foxbody mustangs, nothing but 4 bangers and v6 cars for birds out there where i live.i geuss if i run across the original nose at the junkyard ill put it on. i wasnt planning on changing tail lights i love the 84 ones
i would mostly want the differant fenders, ground fx and nose. i like my spoiler. so i dont know. be nice if an all original s/e was worth something but i doubt it.20 years from now some barett jackson idiot would convert it to a ta like the do to the plymouth satelites and roadrunners, lol
