will that work if they are both iroc z28s?

 

Yes, there are three body kit styles. I believe the first is 82-84, the second is 84-89, and the last is 90-92. The only difference in the styles are the looks. All the mounting is the same as far as I know. An 87 kit on a 86 will definitely work

Have a sports coupe. Bought a wrecked IROC and transferred everything over. Just had to drill holes for the ground effects.

 

I am in the same boat. I have all the pieces but am still a little worried about drilling the holes in the right spots. Did you find and helpful tricks?

 

Just a good ol' fashioned tape measure. To drill the holes, use a unibit step bit. it will give you a precise hole to allow your bolt just to go through perfectly.
