heat gun weatherstripping?
My doors are still really hard to close and I know it's because of the new weatherstripping. Do you think I could heat the it up with a hair dryer or even a heat gun to soften it? Or even heat it up and then close the door so that it moulds better?

Is the door properly aligned? Could it be that you're not used to how a door "should" close?

My driver door has given me trouble after havign the weatherstripping done, it didnt seem to do it before, its been a while ago, ive doen the see if the door lifts from the end but it doesnt budge at all, could be the locking hinge, but I think the weatherstripe is a lot of it.

The hinges are brand new greaseable ones from TDS and the door is aligned properly. That's why I know it's the weatherstripping.

New weatherstripping takes time.
I did mine too. It just takes time for it to settle. I wouldn't screw with it. YOu wouldn't want to reduce the life of it by changing any of the properties with a heat gun.
Just keep being annoyed for a few months, it sux, but it goes away.
After a season on the car, the doors are perfect now.
