I have a red 88 iroc and i was thinking of doin my motor with a red block and paint my tpi, the fire wall,vaule covers, and everything inside black. I'm going to keep the car red so what i'm wounding is what do you guys think will look better black or chrome rims.

Also what should I do with the headers? I had a friend paint his headers black and I thought they looked good. Do u guys think that it would look good with black headers or should I keep my chrome headers.

I also have a problem with my back window lecking water at the top. Who do i fix the problem?

 

If you paint your engine bay black, don't paint anything on the engine in black. It just seems to have a disappearing effect or blending effect and doesn't pop as much if the engine is a different color. Maybe use black stripes on certain parts or only paint portions of parts in black but I would just paint the engine mostly red. I would paint the top of the engine in red so it sticks out more. The bottom of the engine(or block) in black because the bottom is going to get more dirty and be harder to clean. Black rims because Chrome can flake and do other weird things. You may have to adjust your back window which could be difficult or replace the weatherstripping maybe.

 

that is a good idea about the paint i never thought about doin that. I think I'm going to wait to by the rims when i get the motor all painted and so what it looks like. So firebat where do u live in nebraska?
