Question on 92 RS

Hey, I just bought a 92 Camaro RS 305. Anyway, the front end of the car got kinda crunched so instead of going out and buying another RS frent end, he went and stuck a Berlianetta front on it. I Still have the the rubber chin spoiler that bolts on under the RS front end. My question is, can I make it so that chin spoiler will bolt to the berlinetta front end?

Re: Question on 92 RS

The Berlinetta bumper cover is just like a Sports Coupe, there are no provisions for a chin spoiler. I am sure you could try to mount it but it would look like you know what.

YEP!
The chin spoiler won't (easily) mount to that bumper.I would say try to find a bumper from an 85-92 camaro that has the mounting points for the chin spoiler.

Thats what I was afraid of. Are there any places that sell reproduction pieces or something, because the OEM ones on ebay are pricey and the shipping costs are rediculous!

AMEN, if you are trying to restore your car or want to learn about them the JY can be your best friend. You can also make some decent money pulling good parts and either selling them or trading them for what you need. Try the classifieds on here also, you can get a good bumper cover for a decent price.
