Where can I get a good cowl hood?
Hey guys, I am looking for a cowl hood for my 85. But I am looking for one that has the following criteria
-Steel (no fiberglass)
-2 inch cowl
-Doesn't have that ridge in the center like most do
So does anyone know who or where I can get this hood. I thought someone used to make the cowl hood that was smooth and didn't have the center ridge, but I can't find it.
Thanks

i not sure who would make one without the ridge but goodmark has a steel one in the size you want. incase you didnt know the ridge is not simply for cosmetic reasons. its actually to strengthen it. without it when you are going down the highway the center of the cowl would flap like crazy. its kinda like bead rolling sheet metal to make it more sturdy.

Thanks for the help. I didn't know the ridge was actually there for structural reasons! I guess I will stick with the stock hood.
