body color
I am having trouble finding the body color of my 85 TA , the body tag is missing. Is their another way of finding out the color, the cars color is a shade of red.

when you say the "body tag" is missing what do you mean, in the center console there should be a piece of paper (RPO codes) this will have your paint code on it unless the car was repainted, in this case you'll have to take it to an autobody supply/paint shop and they'll take a pic of the paint and the computer can match it.

yeah should be on rpo codes gm stopped using body tag on our cars in 84ish i believe

Says in the chilton auto repair manual that the paint code is on a tag near the hood latch and rad support under the hood . Anyway I'm just going to take it the body shop. Thanks for info
