Hood question

I have a 92 Heritage Camaro. I have built an engine and require hood clearance. I've been doing a lot of looking and really like the look of the fiberglass "Daytona" hood. However, I would like to keep my original paint scheme if possible. Does anyone know if if the stock Heritage stripes will fit onto this hood. It appears VERY possible. Has anyone done this? Thanks in advance...

Re: Hood question

I have the Daytona hood, but I have mine striped (or will have this week after paint job) all the way from front to back. Mine run straight up the middle, but I'm sure with the curve of the scoop on that hood the heritage stripes should work. Just my opinion though, cuz I've not seen it done I don't think.

I found this link: http://home.grandecom.net/~chughes/a...itagehoods.jpg

It's not a scoop hood, but it seems like it'd be the same difference.
