1992 Camaro ZX Front Right Problem ( PLEASE HELP )
Ok guys I have a friend and I'm going to help fix his car (92 Camaro RS). I need some help trying to find out what the problem is without looking at the car.
Here is the problem, from what he told me:
He was driving on the highway and a Chrysler 300m swereved to avoid another car and parallelly hit his right fender. He said when it happened the car was sent up on 2 wheels for a second then fell back to the ground. Now when he said he drove it after, it was like the front right ( the side he got hit on ) was rocking up and down. He said that it was a broken/bent axle or something in the front. Also, the front right wheel seems to be at an unusual angle. Wondering if it is a suspension thing thoug.
What could be some of the problems I should be looking at?
If these questions are answered I myself will be happy for the accoplishment helping fixing the car as will my friend for being able to drive HIS Camaro with T-TOPS. I capitolize t-tops cause thas what he misses the most just talking about it.
More will be known when I look at it and check it out after I get home from Spring Break in St. Martin on Saturday
Thank you very much in advanced.

first thing i would look at would be warped wheel & bent spindle . with a hit like that could be a lot of suspension parts were damaged . next check rt. front strut tower . if uni-body is damaged , car may be totaled . you really need to inspect from underneath . hope you have access to a lift . a good close insp. of all suspension/steering parts is needed . hope who ever is at fault has good insurance . good luck , you have a big job ahead .

You might have better luck in the suspension/chassis sub-forum. It's kind of hard to say without seeing/knowing exactly what happened. I'd have to agree with Tom though about the bent wheel and spindle.
