im currently working on a 88 iroc and have a few questions, the car is a hardtop but replaced both doors from a 86 t-top. now the doors are installed but no weather stripping is installed and the hinges are a little loose but my major problem is the doors and the top half of the door is sucked in bout 1/4 inch and the bottom is stuck out 1/4 inch at the rear where is meets the body, would hinges fix this or will it level out when i install new weather stripping

 

Sounds like sagging hinges to me. If the back of the door is sagging down, it will stick in/out just like you describe.
